August Lindy Hop
Partnered dancing is back, sort of! Join us as we trial partnered dancing. Partner not (necessarily) required, see below for more info.

About The Event
This class will be a great way to start or get back into Lindy hop. There are TWO options to join in:
Dance in a pair- you'll sign up with your partner and you'll stay with that partner for the whole class. One of you will dance 'Lead' and the other 'Follow' you can choose to switch roles within your partnership throughout the block of classes.
Dance in a bubble- you'll sign up on your own and will be put into a dance bubble of 3 couples (6 people). You will rotate within your bubble throughout the class and will stay in that bubble for the whole block of 4 weeks. You'll choose one dance role on sign up- either lead or follow.
We will be trialling a social dance after class, this will only be open to those who attended the class. No one is under pressure to dance in a way that they're uncomfortable with, everyone is free to ask and everyone is free to say "no" and everyone is OK with that.
We hope to resume regular programming in September. These interim classes are aimed at easing back into what is normally expected from our Wednesday nights (social dancing with lots of people).

Price: £40 per couple, £20 per individual

COVID-19: In theory, restrictions will be lifted before the first class. We anticipate some restrictions may remain, please keep an eye on your email the week before as announcements are made. Currently, you will be required to wear a mask when entering the black-e and moving around the building but you can take it off when dancing. Please do not sign up for this course if you are from outside of the Merseyside area.
