Lindy Hop Workshop: Partnered Charleston for the Social Dance Floor

In this workshop we will work on some basic partnered Charleston moves with a goal to take away at least one aspect to contribute towards your own social dancing vocabulary.

We will work on basic Charleston footwork, basic partnered footwork and some simple patterns moving from open to closed. As the workshop progresses we will develop into more exciting phrases while keeping an emphasis on simplicity. Including some simple ways to move from Lindy hop footwork into Charleston will also allow you take the patterns learned in the workshop onto the social dance floor.

This workshop is open level and although we will be working on the basic footwork from the ground up, some experience in basic 6 count & 8 count rhythm is expected.We aim to keep this workshop fun, energetic & challenging and we ask everyone to show up with the energy and commitment towards the material we aim to achieve.
